Beacon Tintype

Beacon Tintype is a wet plate collodion portrait studio in the Hudson Valley. We make heirloom, handmade portraits on tin (tintypes) and glass (ambrotypes) in a 19th century technique that is hauntingly timeless and incredibly archival. These one of a kind objects are meant to be handed down for generations.

We are located at 149 Main Street in Beacon, New York and accept walk-ins as well as appointments in our studio. Please ask us about booking location and special event shoots.
